Our mission is to build a diverse media platform that amplifies the voices of those overlooked or misrepresented by mainstream media.

    OUR FOUNDER

    Cassandra Skolnick is an award-winning activist, journalist, and community leader. In 2024, she founded Veris Media Group LLC to depart from traditional media’s increasing emphasis on promoting negative content to invoke doomscrolling, and their lack of objectivity. She was particularly disheartened by how traditional media often spoke on behalf of vulnerable communities instead of allowing them to share their own experiences.
